When we very first visited the fort we just knew it was our place to become husband and wife. We didn’t even look at other venues. What a beautiful place and setting. All staff are very helpful and communication is excellent.

Wedding venue choice?

Polhawn is absolutely perfect in everyway! Whether it's rain or sunshine you have it all! The sea views are incredible, the grand hall is stunning and the private beach just tops it off! The team were so friendly and couldn't have done enough for us. Everything about this place is perfect and we couldn't recommend Polhawn Fort enough. Thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams.

Perfect wedding venue

We would like to recommend mark and Claire from culinary affair as caters for Polhawn fort. The comments I received from some very fussy guests were fantastic. The food was amazing! They were also very helpful and went out of their way to assist with tasks they weren’t being paid to do.

One concern that I had was the distance of Polhawn Fort from our home but all of my concerns were quickly eliminated with the amazing help and advice from the Polhawn Fort team. We chose Polhawn Fort because of its beautiful location and amazingly stunning building. Everything was made super easy and nothing was too much for the staff especially James. They’re very welcoming and feel like friends very quickly.

The fort is very well equipped with everything you could need for a dry hire wedding venue. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable with the added bonus of en-suite. Communication is the key with dry hire venues and to be honest I thoroughly enjoyed organising our day myself. Polhawn can recommend suppliers but you are also free to choose who you wish. I would recommend Polhawn fort to anyone who is looking for an old (with new) historical venue, sea view and its own private beach.
