Indoor Wedding Venue in Cornwall near Devon

Polhawn is a genuine Napoleonic Fort, complete with drawbridge, granite spiral staircases, huge vaulted ceilings and rows of windows facing out across the sweeping lawns to the sea.

We have two inside rooms licensed for marriages: choose from the Grand Napoleonic Hall, where up to 120 people can bear witness to your marriage; or perhaps have a smaller and more intimate ceremony for up to 30 or so in the Emperor's Room.

The spaces inside the Fort are entirely yours to set up and decorate as you wish. Our team of wedding organisers will be on hand to meet you when you visit, and to offer unlimited free advice on how you can make the best use of the Fort's unusual and historic character.

What could be more snug than a winter wedding on the very edge of the wild Cornish cliffs, enfolded by the security and seclusion of the Fort, with all your loved ones gathered together round a blazing log fire, and the sound of the sea crashing on the beach below?
